Hattingdon has been invited to a Sangria Party and she can hardly wait to go. Naturally… naturally she has a new hat.
Before we get to the hat, how about hosting your own Sangria Party? It’s such a fun and terrific idea. There’s loads of information on the “www” on how to do it. We love the one where you set up a sangria “station” so guests make their own. There are loads of fabulous tips on how to do it on Rachel Ray’s site.
Stir Things Up!
Rachel Ray says, “Sangria is the perfect party drink, and we love serving it outside in the summer. Take the guesswork out of your cocktail prep with a sangria station. Your guests choose the wine, fruit and garnishes themselves. They’ll have fun making their own beverage — and you won’t have to play bartender all night. Cheers to that!”
And cheers to Hattingdon’s festive sangria inspired hat!

Anytime at All
Rachel Ray has soooooooooo many ideas to make your sangria party marvelous. It’s not just for summer either.
If you are in the part of the world where you’ve got you eyes on Fall, check out these great recipes at Country Living, magazine, “25 of the Most Delicious Fall Sangria Recipes.” They even have a sangria recipe made with hard apple cider, Hattingdon’s favourite. Oh my!
Thanksgiving Sangria
That’s not all. How about Thanksgiving sangria? Look!

Country Living recommended a recipe by Inspired by Charm (pictured above). You do it in your slow cooker! Isn’t that a wonderful idea?
Whatever you do pilgrims, be sure to wear a hat! Hugs and smiles and a hatful of kisses.
Update!
Some of you wrote us you thought Hattingdon’s sangria hat (which we have now named Capri) should be fruitier. Although Hattingdon’s hatmaker Mrs Farrell loves it just the way it is — and so does Hattie — she loves playing around with her hats (if time allows), so here’s a juicier version, ha ha!

Bye for now. See you again soon!
