The future’s so bright

Things are going great, and they’re only getting better
I’m doing all right, getting good grades
The future’s so bright, I gotta wear shades
I gotta wear shades

Hey there my darlings. My hope is that wherever you are it’s a bright and glorious day.

Not particularly feeling that right now?

It may not seem like it a lot of times that there’s much good going on and that the future’s doesn’t look very bright, but there is so much more good going on than bad.

Let’s think on the good things.  Let’s hang onto the ideas of the good and resist the ideas of bad. And smile smile smile!

We have all heard about the recuperative powers of smiling. Learn more here at the Healing Power of a Smile. It’s not a quirky idea either. It has been tried, tested and proven all kinds of ways. It feels good to smile. Plus, when people see you smiling it makes them feel good and starts them smiling too.

What got me to thinking about this sweet souls?

Well, when trying to figure out what to put on today, that song “The future’s so bright I gotta wear shades” by Timbuk 3 started buzzing around inside my cartoon head.

It’s from a long time ago and lots of fun. It made me giggle. This is what I picked to wear.
