Hello there from Vivian.
Jada’s New Mane
Hattingdon’s California cousin, Jada Hattingdon-Gray, decided she’s grown up now and doesn’t want to wear her mane braided and beaded. She wants something soft, curly and relaxed.
Here’s Jada modeling some of her hats with the new look mane I created for her.
. . . Hattingdon’s New Mane
You probably remember when we introduced the Amani ballcap I created for Jada, that Hattingdon showed up wearing it the very next day.
She is at it again.
Hattingdon loves Jada’s new look mane so much she decided to have her mane styled the same way. And of course, she looks equally darling and almost 17-ish. Sigh. Oh, Hattingdon.
Hattingdon particularly loves the way this new mane looks with her percher hats. I agree with her on that.
She has been flitting around, modeling them and admiring herself all morning. Take a look!
Hattingdon teams up her new “mane do” with the Branwen (Halloween) percher hat featuring cute little George the spider. Hang on there George.
Look at the Brittany hat, one of my favourites, with the new look mane.
Next up it’s Cherry baby . . . ” Do you remember this design? It’s from 2012.
Look at Justine. This hat design is virtually brand new, created for Canada Day 150, July 1, 2017. Doesn’t it look fabulous with Hattingdon’s mane styled this way?
I designed the Lily picture hat for the Kentucky Oaks several years ago. Here is the same design re-interpreted as a percher hat, modeled by Hattingdon with her newly styled mane. She’s always so pretty in pink.
Tired yet? How about a Christmas hat? I ordinarily do not fancy open crown hats. This one is also brimless and looks very sweet on Hattingdon. Updated Noelle design from 2011. Hattingdon looks most festive!
Speaking of open crown hats and looking sweet, here is a circlet hat made with flowers. Very spring and summer. And it doesn’t get much sweeter than this.
I shall at long last close, and close with a flourish.
How about something simple yet dramatic. For all of those of you who are already fans of the original Delores design, what do you think of this? Oh, yeah. I will be adding this to my collection.
This has truly been a Hatful of Smiles™ adventure for me, and hope it has been for you too and it makes you feel wonderful.
Thank you for stopping by. See you again soon.
