Top of the Toppers

Top o’ the morning to ya. Let’s talk toppers.

I thought Hattingdon ought to have a top hat or two in her wardrobe and of course she looks fabulous in them. I started off by designing four in January 2016 adding another in February.

In September I created Midge for National Mad Hatter Day, October 6, 2016.

The Midge design won the recently announced Best New Design Award of 2016, and a huge favorite. Huge! We added Midge to the shop to meet the demand.

I created Trill at the end of December for a private client.

There are three variations on Trill. One Hattingdon is holding opera glasses in her mouth, another she is peering out of them and the last one, which is the one that you voted to go on sale, is the third where she has her opera glasses resting on the brim of her top hat.

Top Five Sellers

There have been brisk sales of five of the top hats I designed for Hattingdon. To make up our list top five list we have added your likes, comments and emails to arrive at the final result.  Here, in reverse order, are the top five toppers of 2016.

And yes, I will be designing for Mad Hatter’s Day again in 2017. I already have it in my mind’s eye (wink).

Thanks everyone. See you again soon.
