Hattingdon has taken a good long look at the hats she has seen on display this week. Her favorite by far is the one below, brought to her attention by her good friend Jane.
Victoria Revay of Postmedia Network reports, as printed in the Toronto Sun:
Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau and her husband, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended Remembrance Day ceremonies in Ottawa on Wednesday November 11, 2015.
And we couldn’t help but take notice of her stylish outfit.
Sophie wore a grey free form Cloche-style hat according to Amparo Findley of Hatitude Canada and a shale grey long wide collar coat.
We were able to confirm that another Canadian designer, Chapeaux de Madeleine, an Ottawa-based millinery made the hat. Milliner Madeleine France Cormier told us over the phone that she has worked with Sophie in the past and that “she loves hats.” “She wears them well,” said Cormier.
Hattingdon loves this hat, and so do I.
Hattingdon and I also love this hat. We especially love the color. Hattingdon thinks she would look very nice in something like this, so I will see what I can do.
It is worn by Japan’s Empress Michiko, attending a garden party with her husband.
With animal print still making headlines, Hattingdon has been running around this weekend wearing her Zara classic hat. Tres chic.
T-hat’s it for now.
P.S. Speaking of x’s and o’s we have a lovely treat in store for you Monday. Stay tuned.
